Summary
Parad0x Compress is a media compression app. We aim to collect as little data as possible.
Your files are processed on-device, and we do not sell your data.
This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
Data We Collect
-
Media files you select: We process the files you choose to compress.
Your files are handled on-device unless a feature explicitly requires uploading.
-
Advertising data (AdMob): If the app shows ads, the ad provider may collect certain device and usage data
to serve ads, measure performance, and help prevent fraud. (See Advertising (AdMob) below.)
-
Diagnostics (optional): If enabled, we may collect crash logs and basic diagnostics to improve stability and performance.
-
Purchases: If you buy subscriptions or lifetime access on iOS, Apple processes the payment.
We do not receive your card details.
Advertising (AdMob)
Parad0x Compress may display ads provided by Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK).
When ads are displayed, Google may collect and use information for purposes such as
ad delivery, ad measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention.
What AdMob may collect (examples):
-
IP address (may be used to estimate a device’s general location, e.g., city/region).
-
Device identifiers such as:
the device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) if you allow tracking,
or other app- or device-related identifiers.
-
Ad-related data such as which ads were shown and basic ad performance signals.
-
App interaction signals such as app launches, taps, and ad engagement (e.g., video views).
-
Performance/diagnostics data such as app launch time, hang rate, energy usage, and non-user-related crash logs
to improve reliability and advertising performance.
We do not receive your personal contact details from AdMob. We may receive aggregated reports
(for example, ad impressions, clicks, and revenue summaries).

App Tracking Transparency (ATT) & IDFA (iOS)
On iOS, Apple requires apps to request permission before accessing the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) for tracking.
If Parad0x Compress requests tracking permission, you can choose to allow or decline.
-
If you allow tracking: AdMob may use the IDFA to help deliver more relevant (personalized) ads and measure campaigns.
-
If you decline tracking: AdMob will not access the IDFA, and ads may be less personalized.
(You may still see ads; they can be contextual or otherwise non-personalized depending on availability.)
You can change your choice anytime in iOS Settings (Privacy & Security → Tracking).

How We Use Data
- To compress your selected media and save/export results.
- To troubleshoot crashes and improve performance (if diagnostics are enabled).
- To display ads and measure ad performance (if ads are enabled in the app).
- To verify Pro entitlements (subscription/lifetime access).
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only as needed to operate the app:
- Apple for processing purchases on iOS (we do not receive your card details).
- Google AdMob for serving and measuring ads (if ads are enabled).
-
Diagnostics providers (if enabled) to help identify crashes and performance issues.
Note: Third-party services (like AdMob) may process data according to their own privacy policies and may operate
globally. Please review their policies for details.
Retention
- Your media: Your selected media remains on your device unless you explicitly upload it via a feature that requires uploading.
- Diagnostics: If enabled, diagnostics data is retained only as long as needed to investigate issues and improve stability.
- Advertising: Ad-related data is handled by AdMob and retained according to Google’s policies.
Your Choices
- You choose what files to compress and where to save/export results.
- You can disable diagnostics collection (if offered in-app or in system settings).
-
You can control tracking permission (IDFA) on iOS via Settings (Privacy & Security → Tracking).
